Input Required on the Concept of ‘Demand’

A lot has been written on the mismatch between the supply of skills and demand for skills – skills in this case being people with environmental qualifications and experience. It is clear that this is not a simple matter - for while employers lament a lack of suitably skilled people, graduates say they can’t find work.

The Green Skills Research Symposium – 11 June 2015

The Green Skills Research Symposium at the Wits School of Education Centre for Researching Education and Labour on 11 June 2015 was attended by 42 participants from 22 organisations. The event marked the start of a New Knowledge Field Development project funded by the National Research Foundation, which will map out and review green skills
